Responsibilities
Ensures compliance to hydro modernization standards within daily work and project requirements
Assist and collaborate with maintenance and operations personnel in investigation, troubleshooting, research, and resolution of equipment or system issues
Continuously identify opportunities to improve the way work is designed and constructed
Support on-site commissioning and start up activities for assigned projects
Support the programming of PLCs, RTUs and HMIs
Executes functional checkout procedures, including commissioning on basic facilities
Develop control circuit diagrams, schematics, and documentation
Contribute to the review and development of engineering designs and calculations under the guidance of senior engineers
Participate in design reviews and assist in preparing engineering, construction and related documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering-Electrical or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Job-related technical experience
Preferred
Job-related experience, 1 year
EIT-Engineer in Training certification
PE-Professional Engineer license
