Metso is an industry leader committed to the sustainable use of the world’s natural resources. They are seeking a motivated HR Benefits Intern to support HR Benefits functions and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities
Review existing benefit plan documents and policies
Update and incorporate most resent benefit in plain-language for employee readability
Deliver final branded versions to employees with SMM for the 2026 plan year
Real-world understanding of ERISA and plan document compliance required by every employer and successful plan administration
Project management and stakeholder feedback integration
Exposure to employer-sponsored benefit structures (active and retiree)
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field
Strong interest in Employee Benefits, HR Operations, or Total Rewards
Excellent attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data sorting/cleaning)
Professional communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
