They are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for their Investment Banking Industry client partner.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and UI components
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
Optimize database performance and queries for scalability and reliability
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Document technical processes and solutions in clear, user-friendly language
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced concepts such as: Common Table Expressions (CTEs), Query optimization and execution plans, Indexing strategies, Troubleshooting complex queries
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on experience with coding and debugging in a production environment
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for occasional UI work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Spring Boot)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of RESTful API design and integration
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
