They are seeking an IT focused professional to design and implement a centralized server or shared storage system to improve data security and internal controls.

Responsibilities
Design and set up a centralized server or shared storage environment (cloud based or internal)
Define and implement role based access levels for employees, contractors, and leadership
Migrate existing files into a structured folder system
Set permissions to ensure sensitive client and financial data is properly restricted
Create and document standards for:
Folder hierarchy and naming conventions
Access control and permission management
Data storage and retention
Employee onboarding and offboarding (granting and revoking access)
Work with leadership to ensure the system meets audit and compliance expectation
Identify gaps or risks in current data storage and access practices
Recommend simple, scalable best practices for ongoing IT and data management
Qualification
Required
Understanding of servers or cloud storage systems (Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, AWS, or similar)
Knowledge of user permissions and access control concepts
Basic understanding of data security and information management
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to execute independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
Computer Science, IT, or Information Systems background
Experience setting up role based access systems
Familiarity with audit or compliance environments
Experience working with startups or growing companies
