Responsibilities
Creating, editing, and maintaining accurate maps and technical drawings to support engineering projects and utility operations
Using tools such as AutoCAD and ESRI ArcMap or similar software to compile and analyze data from surveys, field work, as-built plans, GIS databases, and other sources
Reviewing legal descriptions and record drawings for accuracy and compliance
Responding to data requests and assisting the public and other departments by providing technical information in verbal or visual formats
Performing routine administrative tasks and delivering exceptional customer service through various communication channels
Qualification
Required
An equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience
Associate Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Planning, or Civil Engineering
Two (2) years of experience in GIS, computer aided drafting and design, and mapping
Must maintain a valid driver's license
