Responsibilities
Receive inbound calls from people interested in applying for disability benefits through the Social Security Administration
Determine if individuals or their dependents are eligible for disability benefits through a series of simple questions
Gather sensitive personal and financial details to determine eligibility and assist in the initial submission of Social Security Disability applications
Accurately compile, record, and evaluate personal and financial data using Centauri’s systems
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and company information security policies to ensure the safety and confidentiality of all data
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a high-touch customer service or call center environment
Excellent phone skills, actively listen, and can be assertive with compassion
Ability to remain calm and professional, seeing obstacles as opportunities to build trust
Love to help people
Comfortable placing and receiving calls via a computer interface auto dialer
Strong data entry skills
Ability to manage difficult conversations and use probing questions to clarify information and find solutions
Experience working remotely and have a private, quiet office space
