New Grad, Entry LevelRiley Children's Health is dedicated to making a direct impact on the lives of patients through non-hands-on care roles. They are seeking a Registration Specialist I to facilitate patient flow, schedule appointments, and manage administrative duties in the Sleep Lab.

Responsibilities
Facilitate flow in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
Schedule appointments, interviewing patient for appropriate medical information
Explain charges and policies, validating and entering changes into the system, collecting payments
Maintain a variety of related records, code charges, etc. and perform related clerical & administrative duties
Ensure timely receipt of written orders and verifies that orders meet compliance guidelines
Answer incoming calls and direct patients accordingly
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED is required
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
relevant experience in a health care setting
ability to learn and retain medical coding; ICD-10; CPT coding
ability to interpret insurance information
knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology
