They are looking for a Product Development Engineer to guide projects from concept and prototype development through to final product qualification and serial production.

Responsibilities

Interpret and refine customer design parameters into innovative product and process solutions

Interact with customer product development engineers and material suppliers to co-develop the proper material sets and designs

Provide guidance to process technicians during the development of prototype samples

Create technical prototypes and reports

Act as a technical interface with the customer product development engineers

Provide input to product and process cost models

Provide input and guidance to manufacturing process development and qualification

Required

BS in Engineering

10+ years of Industrial experience

Experience in Technical Writing, strong skills a must

Innovative problem solving

Ability to manage multiple & varied responsibilities (i.e. tasks, projects) in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Self-driven and highly motivated with strong attention to detail

Aptitude for mechanical and motion-controlled devices

Preferred

Experience in a high performance, highly collaborative work environment preferred

Experience in business and customer interaction a plus

AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience desired
