Responsibilities
Lead and support a company-wide salary banding and job leveling initiative to align roles, career paths, and pay ranges across the organization
Analyze and administer compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness
Conduct market pricing and benchmarking; develop, maintain, and adjust salary structures and pay ranges
Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation decisions
Evaluate job descriptions and assess roles to ensure accurate classification and alignment within salary bands
Support annual compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive planning
Prepare clear compensation analyses, reports, and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and support pay equity analysis efforts
Maintain compensation data integrity within HRIS and related systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related HR function
Experience conducting market pricing, job evaluations, and salary structure development
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading salary banding and job leveling initiatives
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present compensation data clearly
Proficiency with HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of compensation-related regulations, including FLSA and pay equity requirements
Ability to partner effectively with HR and business stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification
Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive, multi-site organizations
Experience in high-growth, acquisition-driven environments
