Application Support Specialist
Horizontal Talent is seeking an Application Support Specialist to ensure the stability and reliability of a key business application. The role involves providing technical and functional support, managing service requests, and collaborating with various teams to resolve application issues.
Responsibilities
Provide daily support to maintain optimal application performance and availability
Diagnose and resolve application issues, escalating as necessary to ensure service quality
Manage service requests and incidents through a ticketing system, while adhering to service level agreements
Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to identify and fix defects
Conduct root cause analyses and document solutions to prevent reoccurrences
Maintain detailed application documentation, runbooks, and procedures
Facilitate user onboarding, access management, and necessary training
Qualification
Required
Experience in application or production support, or a related IT support role
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Knowledge of ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk
Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Adept at working in fast-paced, service-oriented environments
Preferred
Experience with SaaS, web-based, or enterprise applications
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Background in retail or large-scale enterprise operations
