Responsibilities
You’ll take ownership of the full digital commerce stack — experience, services, data movement, and operational flow
You’ll define how the content platform operates, scales, and integrates with the rest of the ecosystem
This includes component architecture, asset workflows, headless delivery patterns, and the broader Adobe content environment
You’ll shape the backend foundation of the platform: API design, event models, authentication patterns, and Java‑based services
You’ll ensure the system is observable, resilient, and aligned with cloud‑native delivery principles
This includes setting standards for service design, integration patterns, and runtime behavior
You’ll oversee how the commerce engine connects to operational systems — order flows, pricing logic, inventory, fulfillment, returns, financial reconciliation, and tax workflows
You’ll ensure data moves predictably across systems and that the platform supports scale, reliability, and business continuity
Qualification
Required
6+ years of engineering experience with large‑scale digital or commerce platforms
Strong full‑stack capability across modern JavaScript frameworks and Java‑based backend services
Deep experience with enterprise content platforms, especially AEM (Sites, Assets, component development, headless delivery, integration patterns)
Experience shaping and integrating commerce platforms and the surrounding ecosystem
Understanding of secure transaction flows, payment processing patterns, and compliance considerations
Experience integrating operational systems across the order lifecycle
Comfort leading engineering teams and driving cloud‑based delivery pipelines
