Source on-market and off-market land opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with:
Developers
Landowners
Brokers
Municipal contacts
Evaluate land from a civil feasibility and constructability standpoint
Help structure LOIs and support negotiations
Drive early involvement so Hensley Civil is positioned as the preferred civil contractor
Convert relationships and sourced deals into awarded grading and infrastructure contracts
Track and manage a live pipeline of opportunities
Represent Hensley Civil at industry events, planning meetings, and local development functions
Qualification
Required
5+ years in land acquisition, development, brokerage, or construction business development
Strong understanding of the land development process
Ability to identify opportunities before they hit the bid street
Relationship-driven, self-motivated, and results-focused
Comfortable owning outcomes—not just activity
