D365 Program Manager

Haynes International is seeking a D365 Program Manager to lead their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The role involves managing the overall D365 program, executing business analysis, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of D365 F&O to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall delivery of large-scale, multi-year D365 F&O transformation programs, aligning outcomes with business goals and success metrics
Develop and maintain programming roadmaps, master project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope
Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across business and technical teams
Proactively identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve escalations to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, business analysts, and third-party vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability
Drive effective change management and process improvement strategies throughout the program lifecycle to ensure high user adoption and minimal business disruption
Collaborate with stakeholders across all departments (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Inventory, Warehouse) to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements
Conduct 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' process analysis and map business processes, performing gap-fit analysis to translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs for D365 F&O (particularly SCM and Production modules)
Configure and maintain D365 F&O modules (e.g., Production Control, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Finance) to support evolving operational needs and best practices in manufacturing (discrete, process, and lean)
Plan, coordinate, and execute system testing (UAT, SIT), develop user test cases, and provide end-user training and post-go-live support to ensure smooth transitions
Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the system, advising on new D365 features and enhancements to optimize functionality and drive efficiency
Work with data to analyze production costs, track KPIs, and provide insights into operations to support data-driven decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in program/project management and business analysis
Proven delivery experience with at least 1-2 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, items, routings, production costing, and inventory management
Deep functional knowledge of D365 F&O modules relevant to manufacturing and finance
Experience with Agile or iterative project management methodologies
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Program/Project management experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Preferred

Experience acting as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in a DevOps environment using Azure DevOps
Knowledge of how D365 Sales integrates with Finance or Supply Chain
Understands the 'Lead-to-Cash' or 'Procure-to-Pay' lifecycle across different apps
Certification or experience in PROSCI or similar frameworks
Industry-Specific Experience: (e.g., knowing Manufacturing for a D365 F&O role)
Deep expertise in old versions like AX 2012 or NAV
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 certifications (Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing specific) or project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable
