Responsibilities

Design and enhance Amazon Connect flows and develop secure, integrated REST APIs for omnichannel experiences
Develop Node.js/TypeScript services using tools like but not limited to AWS Lambda, CDK, S3, and DynamoDB to power scalable solutions
Develop Vue.js/Nuxt.js components and user interfaces that integrate cleanly with serverless APIs
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, share ideas, and document processes
Capable of writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on delivering quality work
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and apply them effectively in projects
Capability to work independently, especially when requirements are vague, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness
Demonstrates a commitment to teamwork and fosters a collaborative work environment amongst engineers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders; Comfortable with pair programming, peer reviews, and working in cross-functional teams
Familiarity with contact center analytics, workforce management, or quality monitoring
Set direction, guide execution, and ensure the team delivers high-quality call flow solutions and platform capabilities
Implement automated unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for security, observability, and operational excellence
Motivated to research and adopt new technologies through diligent investigation
Experienced in Agile environments, including using tools like JIRA and Confluence
Experience with CloudWatch/X-Ray, Step Functions, EventBridge, KMS, and least-privilege IAM
Exposure to IaC patterns and platform engineering practices
Coach engineers, review designs/code, and partner across teams to turn requirements into impactful outcomes

Required

Provide technical direction and ensure team successfully delivers solutions
