Industrial Prime Vendor Program Coordinator
DLA Careers is seeking an Integrated Prime Vendor (IPV) Program Coordinator to serve as a liaison between customers and vendors while overseeing contract activities. The role involves technical monitoring of contracts, developing solutions for supply chain issues, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Responsibilities
Serves as customer/vendor liaison, contracting officer’s representative (COR), and on-site Industrial Prime Vendor (IPV) point of contact to oversee activities associated with the contract
Accomplishes technical monitoring of the contract, obtaining specifications or statement of work (SOW), performance work statement (PWS), and monitoring the work performance of the contractor under the contract terms to assure compliance with the contract as it applies to the receipt, storage and issue of DLA and Army material
Participates in writing IPV policies/procedures to eliminate or resolve a variety of recurring supply chain issues/problems
Develops and implements solutions to deficiencies in inventory, quality, packaging and transportation methods
Become familiar with the terms and conditions of the contract in order to identify and report potential non-compliance to the contracting officer
Keep the contracting officer and IPV team informed of communication with the contractor in order to prevent possible misunderstandings or situations that could become a basis for future claims against the Government
Participate and/or conduct reviews/audits and cycle inventories with the contractor as necessary, as well as execute the random sampling procedures for IPV material

Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal

Defense Acquisition Workforce position. Must complete DoD certification and other requirements
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement
Creditable specialized experience includes: Interpreting, applying and analyzing contract surveillance techniques
Identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions on Contract requirements / processes
Analyzing data/metrics to measure the viability, effectiveness, efficiencies of contractor inventory management and reporting process
Conducting special studies, briefings, and/or projects as required
Providing direction, guiding, coordinating and facilitating the work of various functional specialists to ensure the required actions are taken to meet customer needs
