Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers
Provide input into strategic decisions impacting operational efficiency and cost reduction
Analyze production and process flows to identify opportunities for improvement
Manage internal process improvement projects, including budgeting and resource allocation
Collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments to streamline operations and support product development
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; conduct risk assessments
Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, and productivity
Develop innovative solutions and provide data-driven recommendations
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering, production, and equipment-related issues promptly
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical degree or equivalent certification
Minimum 5+ years of management and/or technical leadership experience
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to coach and develop employees and supervisors
Demonstrated leadership and performance management skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Formal training in Tool & Die
5+ years of leadership experience in the Tool & Die field
10+ years of experience in setup, operation, and process development with die cast machines (preferably Buhler, Prince, and Weingarten)
Strong understanding of complex die cast tooling systems
