Responsibilities
Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex electrical system and subsystem designs
Apply industry and company electrical engineering technical standards
Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews
Perform qualification, acceptance, and characterization testing, including troubleshooting and test data review
Conduct data analysis to identify trends indicating degraded or out-of-tolerance performance
Characterize off-nominal behavior of electrical components
Develop, coordinate, and execute test programs to evaluate designs
Lead or support troubleshooting efforts and failure investigations, depending on level
Derive and decompose requirements using documentation and design meetings
Evaluate uncertainty and risks associated with requirements and designs
Participate in trade studies for internal projects and procured equipment
Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), engineering disciplines, and manufacturing/operations groups
Provide peer reviews of engineering designs and analyses
Support mentoring and cross-training across electrical system architectures
Contribute positively to team goals with a focus on quality, safety, and customer service
Escalate issues appropriately and maintain disciplined engineering practices
Act with safety as the top priority in all aspects of the role
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience, or
MS in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
BS in Electrical Engineering with 9 years of experience, or
MS in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of experience
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
Experience with missile systems and associated standards
Experience in design, test, integration, or deployment of electrical components or subsystems
Experience releasing engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, test procedures)
Experience with nonconformance resolution and root cause failure analysis
Proficiency with test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and electronic loads
Experience using MATLAB or Python for data analysis and trend identification
Strong problem-solving skills across technical, schedule, cost, resource, and project challenges
