Responsibilities
Engineer standardized OS builds (RHEL, SLES) for Azure IaaS environments
Ensure all cloud OS images meet enterprise security, compliance, and build requirements
Work cross‑functionally with Security, Networking, AD, and other cloud‑focused teams
Design and build automated OS pipeline solutions for cloud‑ready image delivery
Serve as SME for IaaS and public cloud initiatives within the Unix Engineering team
Produce high‑quality documentation—designs, white papers, training materials, etc
Lead and resolve critical L3 escalations and incident cases
Support major technology initiatives and bank‑wide infrastructure programs
Qualification
Required
9+ years of experience with Linux/Unix
Expertise in RedHat and SUSE Linux
Hands-on experience deploying Linux images in IaaS (Azure or similar cloud platforms)
Strong understanding of IT security practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in large corporate environments
Ability to work independently and with global teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or Equivalent industry experience
Preferred
Scripting experience: Shell, Python, Perl
Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform
CI/CD tools: Git/Stash, Jenkins/TeamCity
VMware technologies: vSphere, vCenter, vRealize
Familiarity with Jira/Confluence
