Responsibilities
Design and test SD-WAN and security solutions for SecureNet product line
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to define end-to-end secure network solutions
Configure and manage routing and firewall policies across distributed enterprise environments
Support VPN configuration, IPsec tunnels, and SSL/TLS security mechanisms
Execute testing plans — functional, failover, and performance testing — to validate new features and customer requests
Assist with network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for escalated issues
Participate in solution architecture activities, designing features for both internal and customer-specific deployments
Document configuration standards, test methodologies, and operational guidance
Occasionally support off-hours maintenance windows for deployment and system changes
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience in network engineering or network security engineering
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, VLANs, NAT, and routing fundamentals
Strong experience with firewall concepts – stateful/stateless inspection, unified threat management, and NGFWs
Hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN solutions, preferably Versa or Fortinet/Cisco/Palo Alto Prisma
Familiarity with overlay and underlay networking concepts, including path selection and policy-based routing
Linux command-line experience for troubleshooting and configuration
Proficiency with tools such as Wireshark for packet analysis
Preferred
Automation and scripting experience (Ansible, Python, REST APIs)
Familiarity with Zero Trust network architectures
Experience working with ISPs, MSPs, or large enterprise networks
SQL/database knowledge for reporting or network analytics
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Security, or NSE are a plus
