Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of residential projects from concept through construction documentation
Act as a senior technical authority on architectural standards, detailing, and residential code compliance
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including land development, engineering, estimating, purchasing, and field construction
Review and approve drawings, plan sets, and specifications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
Establish and maintain CAD/BIM standards, libraries, and workflows; mentor team members on best practices
Oversee quality control for all architectural deliverables, including work produced by junior staff
Conduct site visits as needed to confirm design intent and construction compliance
Support product innovation, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Active Architectural License in the State of Missouri (required)
4–8 years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on residential design
Deep knowledge of residential building codes, construction practices, and production housing standards
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
