Responsibilities

Lead and support commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of BAS/BMS control systems across multiple customer sites
Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex control system issues
Guide, mentor, and support field service technicians, providing on-the-job training and technical direction
Assist with planning, assigning, and prioritizing daily service activities and project work
Install, configure, and optimize BAS/BMS systems, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and networks
Perform advanced diagnostics, system calibration, tuning, and performance optimization
Read, interpret, and validate wiring diagrams, control schematics, and sequences of operation
Communicate directly with customers regarding system performance, issues, and corrective actions
Ensure accurate documentation of service activities, changes, and recommendations
Promote compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices
Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and enhanced service quality

Required

5+ years of experience working with BAS/BMS control systems such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, or similar platforms
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong understanding of control sequences, system integration, and networking concepts
Proficiency with low-voltage wiring, diagnostics, and control system troubleshooting
Strong customer communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
Willingness to travel approximately 85 percent
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
Prior experience in a senior, lead, or mentoring role
Relevant certifications (OSHA, NFPA, ASE, or manufacturer-specific training)
