Responsibilities
Own the content timeline. You’ll ensure the committee meets weekly, speakers hit their deadlines, and the program is finalized by the June cutoff
Lead the interview and vetting process for technical HVAC speakers. You’ll ensure their content is accurate, relevant, and provides real value to both leadership and field professionals
Facilitate the weekly volunteer meeting, keeping the group organized and maintaining the welcoming, high-camaraderie culture of the team
Manage a pipeline of speakers (warm and cold). While you lead the technical side, you will collaborate with the Business Content team to ensure a well-rounded, diverse program
Use our internal tools to organize speaker assets (bios, headshots, session descriptions) and keep the website up to date
Act as a technical brand ambassador, posting updates about our speakers and the 'behind the scenes' of the program development
Qualification
Required
Medium to advance knowledge in the HVAC required, ideally knowledge water heating and a thorough knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Experience in program planning, technical content curation, and conference or event design
Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and team collaboration
Experience with remote communication tools, time management skills, and the ability to work independently
