Start in 2026 SummerTesla is seeking a highly motivated Software Validation Engineering Intern for the Wireless Systems team to help develop and validate high quality wireless technologies. This role involves designing and implementing test cases, troubleshooting and validation of various software bugs and features, and enhancing Test automation for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cellular technologies.

Responsibilities
Design end-to-end test plans, procedures and scripts for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cellular systems
Bring up and maintain test setups and apparatus for validation cycles
Root-cause issues reported by internal, other Development and QA teams and customer feedback
Provide support to Software Development and Manufacturing teams
Enhance Test automation frameworks and data analysis tools
Analyze telemetry data and identify fleet wide issues
Identify areas of opportunity and implement improvements, knowledge sharing and best practices
Drive various tasks to completion and be the connoisseur of great quality product
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering, or a related field
Strong Python, Perl, or Ruby programming skills, familiarity with common python packages
Knowledge and/or work experience in wireless connectivity domain
Knowledge and/or work experience with software testing life cycle and QA processes
Good understanding of Wireless technologies, preferably Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Cellular
Working experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Cellular troubleshooting/debugging tools (i.e. Wireshark, Ellysis, Frontline, log analysis, etc.) is a plus
