Investigative Pathobiology Summet Intern

The Investigative Pathobiology Intern will gain hands-on experience with histological sample preparation, immunohistochemical assays, and cell culture while completing a guided project and scientific presentation.

Responsibilities
Perform histological sample preparation techniques such as microtomy and H&E staining
Conduct immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization assays
Cultivate cell line controls
Optimize assay conditions
Complete a guided end-of-summer project and scientific poster presentation
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate students (cannot be graduating before the conclusion of the internship) working towards a degree in Biology or Biochemistry
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
