Responsibilities
Lead and train a team of inventory analysts, ensuring they monitor key performance indicators and follow rigorous aerospace safety and quality standards (e.g., AS9100)
Coordinate with other manufacturing stakeholders to ensure efficient forecasting, planning and schedule execution
Monitor/reconcile inventory-related variances, support financial auditing activities and lead physical inventory counts
Troubleshoot and reconcile large-scale discrepancies that require high-level authorization or multi-departmental coordination
Ensure all material management follows strict federal guidelines, including the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) for government property
Lead Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to automate tracking or streamline the business systems processes that support shop-floor production
Interface directly with site leadership to report on inventory metrics such as accuracy percentages, inventory turns, transaction discipline and shrinkage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Mastery of ERP (Oracle preferred) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (Odoo preferred) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs), and programming skills such as Python or SQL for mining large data sets
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, mentor junior staff, and resolve conflicts in a high-pressure manufacturing environment
Familiarity with AS9100 standards and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regulations for the management of government property
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
