Project Management Specialist

The Project Management Specialist provides life-cycle management for Information Assurance and other critical systems, supporting customers by interpreting IT requirements and ensuring the proper assignment and involvement is accomplished.

Responsibilities
Support CCSD customers by interpreting IT requirements, gathering additional information, and provide technical sound solutions IAW CCSD and JBSA Lackland baseline configurations
Perform weekly reviews of overall requirements, ensuring the proper assignment and involvement is accomplished
Provide software asset lifecycle management of HNC procured software, including enterprise and non-enterprise software, from procurement to retirement, which includes applications, license agreements as well as software upgrades
Provide asset inventory and services that track the financial aspects of an asset to include cost and depreciation, Task Order management, leases, maintenance agreements and service Task Orders
Ensure that all unused or underutilized software licenses are identified for redistribution, reutilization or disposition
Identify software that does not have an associated license or proof of purchase, request a replacement from publishers and develop a plan of action to obtain compliance
Survey, evaluate, and provide technical advice concerning all existing infrastructures, communications, power, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning & environmental aspects of the site
Provide an implementation plan, in accordance with the requirement, reflecting the strategy, schedule and recommendations (e.g., site architecture, topology, and configuration) for the implementation. Ensure all solutions are aligned with industry best practices, Department of War directives, and applicable Federal Information Technology policies and standards
Support and services provided on the design that will satisfy immediate and projected requirements. Facilitate subsequent modification and conserve resources. Perform site surveys to identify any shortfalls and recommend a technical solution to the Government based on site surveys to address requirements
Responsible for the planning, development, deployment, configuration, and documentation of approved IT solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to Government operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field with 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience with software asset lifecycle management and the planning, development, deployment, configuration, and documentation of approved IT solutions
PMI-ACP Certified
TS/SCI Clearance
