Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of 5–10 UAT testers executing payroll-related test cases
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for testing activities
Act as the central communication channel between testers, Project Management, and senior leadership
Ensure testers have appropriate tools, access, documentation, and guidance
Own daily management of the JIRA dashboard, including JIRA Xray Test Management, where all test cases and reporting are maintained
Monitor test execution, defect trends, and overall progress
Develop, maintain, and report testing metrics and status dashboards
Identify, track, and resolve issues and defects within test cases
Facilitate stand-ups and testing touchpoints as needed
Communicate testing status, risks, and blockers to the Lead Project Manager
Coordinate tester bandwidth and onboard additional resources as required
Partner closely with Project Managers, Product Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders
Utilize Kainos Smart Audit for audit and validation activities
Support and contribute to test case automation efforts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a UAT Testing Lead or UAT Project Manager
Hands-on experience with JIRA and JIRA Xray (required)
Strong understanding of test lifecycle management and defect tracking
Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay complex testing details to non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter with strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Preferred
Experience with Kainos Smart Audit
Workday testing experience (strong plus, not required)
Prior experience supporting payroll system implementations or parallel payroll runs
