Responsibilities

Design and implement communications components, applications, and services

Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams to design relevant data models

Collaborate with engineers to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software

Build e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and implement software development best practices

Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, and create test automation

Design dashboards for monitoring the health of systems

Required

AWS Cloud Native: 3+ years (API Gateway, Tooling, Infrastructure)

Java Development: 4+ years (MVC, SDKs, Design Patterns)

API/JSON: 3+ years (RESTful services, Design, Implementation)

Software Development: 4+ years of professional non-internship experience

System Design/Architecture: 3+ years of experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling

Java: Professional experience with Java programming language, MVC Frameworks, and Java-based SDKs

AWS: Cloud-native skills, AWS tooling, and AWS API Gateway

API/JSON: Experience in API creation, RESTful web services, and JSON

CI/CD: Experience building and managing deployment pipelines

Preferred

GraphQL: Knowledge or experience with GraphQL

Financial Integration: Experience integrating Financial Application and Accounting solutions (e.g., Oracle)

Full SDLC: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience including code reviews and source control

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
