Electrical Engineer Intern
dormakaba Americas is a leading global provider in the access solutions market, seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern based in Lexington. The intern will support the design, testing, and documentation of electrical and electronic systems while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Assist engineers with basic electrical and engineering tasks
Help with simple circuit testing, measurements, and data collection
Support prototype assembly and basic troubleshooting activities
Observe and assist with schematic reviews and design discussions
Help organize engineering documentation, drawings, and test results
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with anticipated graduation date in December 2026 through Spring 2029 in Electrical Engineering
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks (May-August 2026)
Basic understanding of introductory electrical concepts (Ohm's Law, voltage, current)
Exposure to breadboarding or simple circuits
Introductory coursework in circuits or electronics
Familiarity with basic lab equipment (multimeter, power supply)
Preferred
Exposure to breadboarding or simple circuits
Proficiency in using electrical and/or computer engineering methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages
