Training Manager

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of the all training with the Consumer Cellular University (CCU) and Continued Education (CE) staff to effectively create a positive and motivating training environment
Develop and provide continual support to the Training and CCU/CE staff through setting clear expectations, team meetings, QBR process and delivery, role development, observation, follow up, and appreciation
Monitor the training and CCU/CE teams performance to ensure Call Center goals are being met and training needs identified
Identify, recommend, create, and support the implementation of various training and CCU/CE programs for the improvement of employee experience and company process and performance
Assist the Senior Training Manager with various operational tasks, training and CCU/CE training ideas, process and procedure enhancements, and act as the backup when needed
Execute and support all company policies and procedures
Support a collaborative working relationship with all levels of leadership focused on driving the success of all employees, Call Centers, and the Company
Support training and CCU/CE in handling disruptive and/or difficult employee situations
Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new training and CCU/CE team members
Train the members of the training department and CCU/CE team members on processes, procedures, new programs, etc.; both individually and in the training environment
Manage payroll and time off for training and CCU/CE team
Conduct QBR presentations with training and CCU/CE team
Track and analyze training and CCU/CE performance and impact on employee experience, morale and success

Required

College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
At least 2 year of supervisory experience at CCI or 4 years combined supervisory experience
At least 3 years' experience in a customer service environment; preferably in a leadership role
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least 1 year Training/Educational experience
Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Ability to express ideas in a clear and concise manner
Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications and an aptitude to learn new applications quickly
Strong presentation skills
Strong knowledge of Consumer Cellular products and services and the ability to stay current on the cellular industry
Exceptional understanding of adult learning styles and principles
Ability to think tactically and identify significant success factors
Proven leadership development skills
Ability to take initiatives to think outside the box
Works for the good of the team (team player)
