Responsibilities
As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
You’ll design a next generation cloud system
Using your technical experience, you’ll work with our government clients to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud
Additionally, you’ll grow your skills in areas like automation, security and AI while developing critical systems for the Intelligence Community
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience with cloud infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, and security
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
Knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and access control
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of database management systems
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS Diploma or GED
Preferred
15+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Bachelor's degree
Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
