Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern tools and platforms
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation
Ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and best practices
Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions
Lead cloud modernization and digital transformation efforts across enterprise platforms
Conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments
Present detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment strategies
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and compliance trends
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
12+ years of IT experience in cloud engineering and architecture
Expertise in at least one major platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Professional-level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Architect Expert)
Proficiency with Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar IaC tools
Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to brief both technical and business stakeholders
Location: Must be local to the Washington, D.C. metro area and able to work on-site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week)
