Responsibilities
Lead all CMM programming and inspection activities using PC-DMIS
Create, optimize, and maintain CMM programs for new and existing parts
Support first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections
Review prints, GD&T, and customer specifications
Train and mentor CMM inspectors and quality technicians
Troubleshoot inspection issues and improve measurement repeatability
Collaborate with Engineering, Machining, and Quality leadership
Maintain calibration, documentation, and inspection records
Qualification
Required
5+ years of CMM programming experience
Strong expertise with PC-DMIS
Advanced understanding of GD&T
Experience inspecting tight-tolerance parts
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Leadership or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Aerospace, medical, or precision manufacturing experience
Experience with Hexagon CMMs
AS9100 or ISO 9001 environment
Hands-on machining or manufacturing background
