Responsibilities
Manage the daily service needs of an assigned commercial book, including processing endorsements, certificates of insurance (COI), evidence of property, and billing inquiries
Lead the renewal process by reviewing existing coverage, gathering updated exposure data, and coordinating with producers to ensure 90-day renewal strategies are executed
Prepare and submit applications to our carrier partners. Negotiate with underwriters to obtain the best coverage and pricing for new and renewal business
Identify coverage gaps in current policies and proactively suggest "account rounding" opportunities (e.g., Cyber, Umbrella, or Professional Liability)
Provide initial guidance on claims reporting and act as a liaison between the client and the carrier to ensure a smooth resolution
Qualification
Required
An active Florida 2-20 (General Lines) license is required
3–7+ years of commercial insurance agency experience
Experience with Florida-specific risks
Proficiency in Applied EPIC or Vertafore AMS360 is essential
Exceptional verbal and written skills; you must be comfortable presenting to business owners and C-suite executives
Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
