Responsibilities
Splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
Inspect installations, identify issues, and perform repairs
Operate fusion splicers, OTDRs, and other fiber tools
Conduct post‑splicing testing to verify signal quality
Work with project managers and field teams to ensure successful project completion
Follow all safety standards and industry guidelines
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of fiber optics, cable systems, and splicing processes
Experience with fiber tools and test equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical diagrams
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends as needed
High school diploma or equivalent; fiber training a plus
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to use PPE
