Responsibilities
Technicians perform work involving medium voltage power transmission
Technicians routinely work on field instrumentation, and PLCs
PC knowledge and experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and e-mail systems such as Lotus Notes is necessary
Will work both individually and within teams
Technicians are entrusted to quote and purchase their own replacement parts
Qualification
Required
High school education or equivalent
Five years of experience in industry
Medium voltage knowledge
Field instrumentation knowledge
PLC knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs
Ability to work within a computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
Ability to perform effective preventive maintenance
Ability to read and understand equipment specification sheets and drawings (loop sheets, one line diagrams, P&IDs)
Skilled communicators
PC knowledge and experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and e-mail systems such as Lotus Notes
