Entry Level Controls Engineer - Data Center
Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology. They are seeking an Entry Level Controls Engineer to support the deployment of control systems and integrated technology solutions for data center projects, ensuring successful execution and adherence to program standards.

Responsibilities
Ensure the successful deployment of multiple greenfield data centers; scopes will include BMS and EPMS
Receive the applications from the design team and deploy them to each site
Handle point-to-point check out of thousands of devices
Configure communication protocols for multiple types of equipment including switchgear, breakers, and power meters
Configure and calibrate instruments (meters, VFDs, flow meters)
Deploy and commission Ignition applications, Rockwell controls, and other similar control systems involving PLCs and SCADA
Provide on-site guidance and leadership to BW Design Group subcontractors (electricians)
Become a key contributor on one of the fastest growing verticals at BW Design Group
Develop deep expertise in a major emerging market

Qualification
Required
Candidates must be willing to relocate to a project site for at least one year
Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience starting up control systems with significant on-site time
Strong communication skills and the ability/desire to work within large teams
Preferred
Previous experience at a data center site is preferred but not required
