Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies and frameworks
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Define and support data governance policies, standards, and best practices
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing
Optimize data models and databases for performance and scalability
Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Provide SAP report expertise and guide users on data access
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
Stay current with trends in data management, Power BI, and cloud technologies
Support safety, environmental, and quality assurance initiatives
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, database development, database administration, architecting, and other DB models; data analytics, presentation, and report development in an SAP environment
Proven experience in most areas of responsibility
Experience with tools and technologies noted above
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, ETL/ELT tools, and Azure cloud services
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, Azure Purview, and SAP S/4
