Client facing position and working with Business users as well, throughout the project lifecycle
Design, build, test and support individual features with quality and performance in mind
Report status of progress and challenges in timely and accurate fashion using available tools and metrics
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience with Java (J2EE) and supported frameworks (SpringBoot, Hibernate, etc)
3+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services service offerings
Integration software and web service development experience (REST, SOAP, etc.)
Hands on experience in developing micro services
Good understanding of the full software development life cycle including agile development, test-driven development and continuous integration
Experience designing and interacting with relational databases and writing SQL queries
Experience in using AI tools like Copilot, Claude etc in SDLC
Preferred
3+ years of experience in Apache Kafka, writing Producers and Consumers
Experience working on Kubernetes, Docker, and CICD tools
Experience in designing solutions using one or more AWS features, tools and technologies such as EC2, EBS, Glacier, S3, ELB, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS, AWS CLI etc
Experience using a version control system such as GIT
Willingness to rapidly learn new technologies and advocate for emerging technologies that will enhance the existing environment
Experience in Retail and CPG domain
Experience and understanding of in Production support, maintenance processes, Service Level management
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
