Creative Services Manager
RMC, a global Stevie® Award Winner for Great Employers, is seeking a Creative Services Manager who excels in creativity, collaboration, and strategy to develop visually compelling proposals. The role involves designing customized proposals, enhancing creative collateral, and developing event concepts that align with client goals and industry trends.
Responsibilities
Design and develop exceptional, customized proposals in collaboration with RMC destination teams
Source and craft innovative event experiences aligned with client preferences and industry trends
Serve as the primary creative point of contact for local sales and operations teams
Maintain and update destination-specific proposal designs to ensure accuracy and relevance
Participate in bi-monthly creative sessions and proactively address challenges related to quality and deadlines
Collaborate with local teams to update and enhance creative collateral across destinations
Support marketing needs with internal and external materials (brochures, invitations, flyers, etc.)
Create personalized client and internal websites and explore new tools to improve proposal sharing
Lead creative efforts for internal events within local hotel market regions
Develop fresh decor decks and event concepts rooted in current industry trends
Partner with clients to understand goals and translate them into compelling themes and visuals
Execute visual elements including signage, decor, invitations, and branding materials
Collaborate with the VP of Creative & Events to support regional creative engagement
Participate in national and local creative calls and weekly Creative Services team meetings
Maintain clear communication to ensure proposal timelines and expectations are met
Support annual and ongoing Master Proposal updates with Supplier Relations
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Tech-savvy with strong analytical abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Event Cost Sheets, Canva (or similar platforms)
Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, suppliers, hotel partners, and clients
A portfolio showcasing diverse, successful creative projects
Ability to learn and maintain RMC's proprietary processes and pricing structures
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
2–5 years of experience in design or events, with a focus on proposal or product development
Ability to sit for extended periods
Ability to travel when applicable
Ability to drive if needed
Preferred
Hospitality or destination management experience strongly preferred
