Responsibilities
Directed month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements in alignment with Group Financial Guidelines
Led forecasting and budgeting processes, updating financial models with actuals, gathering inputs from business units, preparing projections, and analyzing variances to support strategic decision-making
Managed intercompany accounting, including loan statements, bonus accruals, and ECIT reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment across entities
Coordinated with Treasury on cash drawdowns and monitored cash flow to support payroll and vendor obligations
Collaborated with ECIT teams on recharges, payroll journals, and statutory adjustments to maintain financial accuracy across multiple legal entities
Oversaw payroll processing with HR and third-party providers, ensuring accurate journal entries, approvals, and timely payments
Reviewed and validated expense reimbursements, ensuring proper GL coding and compliance with internal policies
Prepared and submitted quarterly VAT returns, including reconciliations and adjustments, ensuring compliance with local regulations
Maintained a robust control environment, managing the Compliance Scorecard and leading corrective actions to remediate audit findings
Coordinated internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness, supporting documentation/testing, and resolving findings efficiently
Partnered with Finance Centers of Excellence, Regional/Functional Directors, Commercial Finance, and Group Leaders to enhance financial transparency and support strategic initiatives
Supervised teams, drove process improvements, and ensured consistent adherence to corporate governance and financial controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Previous Controller experience mandatory
Proficient in SAP ERP and financial reporting tools
