The role involves assisting the Land Acquisition Team in identifying and preparing contracts for land purchase opportunities, as well as conducting market research and due diligence.

Responsibilities
Maintain lot market information (zoning, price, terms and competition)
Identify parcels and lots to determine community feasibility
Meet with seller to discuss requested deal terms and seller motivation
Prepare contracts on favorable land deals
Present lot and land purchase opportunities to division President
Participate in division and asset committee review and acceptance
Complete due diligence checklist
Prepare life of community budget, asset community transmittal and asset committee book
Obtain HUD and VA approval
Determine needed changes to lot takedowns
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Real Estate
