Payroll Technician
Riverside Health is seeking a Payroll Technician to support payroll processing. The role involves accurately computing wages, managing payroll adjustments, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Responsibilities
Process and manage bi-weekly payroll, adjustments, taxes, journal entries and reconciliations
Prepare payroll reports
Research and respond to inquiries regarding earnings, pay deductions, leave balances, direct deposit, etc. Resolve pay discrepancies and process retroactive payments
Provide timely follow-up with managers, employees, and timekeepers on adjustment memos, direct deposit, savings bonds and garnishments issues
Provide communication, training, and assistance to managers and timekeepers on pay practice issues in accordance with RHS policies and procedures
Communicate with timekeepers, employees and co workers on a biweekly basis, reviewing policy, postings, and corrections
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
1 year Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of payroll processing procedures
Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and tax regulations
Strong mathematical and organizational skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle personally identifiable information (PII)
Preferred
Associates Degree, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance
1 year Experience in a payroll processing environment
Fundamental Payroll Certificate Upon Hire
