2026 Summer Intern - Commercial Insights and Analytics (MBA)

As an Insights & Analytics Intern, you will support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess market opportunities and inform go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence analysis to assess opportunities and threats across various therapeutic areas
Analyze patient journey data, clinical results and real-world evidence to inform marketing campaigns, go-to-market strategy and life-cycle development
Build financial models and sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Support ad-hoc projects, such as evaluating partnership opportunities, assessing market entry barriers for new indications or geographies, analyzing competitor actions and clinical trial results, synthesizing key insights and findings for executive presentations
Qualification
Required
First-year MBA students enrolled full-time graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
Experience in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent finance/consulting/strategy is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of financial principles
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Must be able to work in-person at SSF office for full duration of the internship
Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (no relocation assistance)
