Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a Procurement Program to support the mission critical market
Strategically develop and implement commodity/supply chain strategies covering all commodities, services, and supplier processes to maximize value, leverage, and standardization
Establish and maintain purchasing best practices and procedures, including RFP processes, bid leveling, and purchase order requirements
Develop and negotiate commercial terms for vendor Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Determine and collect data to execute and govern programs, maintaining project trackers and status reports
Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, manage their expectations, and provide insights
Establish supply plans to position materials in alignment with demand while meeting financial objectives
Develop and justify inventory buffer strategies to optimize cost and flexibility
Partner with cross-functional teams to procure materials and ensure availability to fulfill customer needs
Negotiate long-term national contracts to support multi-site procurement initiatives
Establish and manage an Inventory Management Program to ensure the necessary equipment and materials are available to support customer SLAs
Implement and maintain a Vendor Management Program, including a vendor screening process and Vendor performance reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a relevant field
Experience in interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups across all organizational levels
Mastery of Microsoft Excel; Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs (Word and PowerPoint)
Identify and execute program tasks, managing dependencies
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong mathematical and deductive reasoning abilities
Effective fact-to-fact conversation skills
Team-building skills that promote inclusiveness and communication among team members
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Maintaining confidentiality
Strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills
Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines
Must be available by phone after hours for emergency situations
Operate comfortably in a highly critical, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Preferred

0-2 years of experience in supply chain, materials, or inventory management; or data center program or project management is preferred
Knowledge of Construction Materials & Data Centers is a plus
