Start in 2026 SummerAventiv Technologies is offering a 12-week paid internship program designed for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in their operations. The Procurement intern will assist the procurement team with supply procurement activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order management, and supplier communications.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the Purchasing department
Navigate and utilize MRP/ERP Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, and Supplier Portal applications
Participate in weekly procurement meetings and vendor communications
Assist in creating process documentation for key procurement functions
Generate reports and analyze data to support departmental objectives
Collaborate with suppliers to track deliveries and maintain pricing targets
Support business planning with forecasting and data analysis
Adherence to all company policies and procedures
Present an overall understanding of learnings as the final capstone to senior leaders at the end of program
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate business student with/or pursuing a major in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to work across functional areas to achieve desired outcomes
High level of sense of ownership and urgency
Effective communicator to coordinate with others
Strong administration skills
Preferred
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Local candidate to work an estimated 40 hours per week
Experience with manufacturing processes preferred
