MEM Reliability Analyst

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance standardized Power BI dashboards supporting MEM and site KPIs (availability, utilization, MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance, backlog health, component life, and cost performance)
Establish automated refresh schedules and data validation routines to ensure high data integrity and reliability
Perform reliability analyses including Pareto, trend analysis, and working with NDT Technicians on FMEA/FMECA, and root cause analysis
Track and report benefits associated with reliability initiatives, including cost savings, downtime avoidance, and availability improvement
Standardize KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and documentation
Maintain clear documentation of data models, queries, and dashboard logic
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analytics processes through automation
Support deployment and operation of thermographic robotic monitoring systems on shovels and selected fixed plant assets (e.g., drive towers, lubrication rooms, MCC areas, conveyors, and other critical locations)
Validate and trend thermographic data and integrate results into Power BI dashboards and reliability reports
Oversee the condition monitoring system, managing device configuration, alert logic optimization, and technical support for the Machine Health team
Develop standard work instructions and response playbooks for thermographic alerts and findings
Incorporate thermographic and robotic monitoring results into FMEA/FMECA, defect elimination, and asset health strategies
Maintain high personal standards in safety, attendance, work ethic, and general knowledge of how the maintenance activities are performed
Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management
Compliance with all company policies and procedure, including, but not limited to, safety, confidentiality, and environmental policies
Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state
Work safely in all areas, identify potential safety hazards, and work with management to correct hazards
Work without significant risk of harm to self and others
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability, maintenance analytics, asset performance, or industrial data analysis
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
Advanced proficiency in SQL Server / T-SQL
Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles (MTBF, MTTR, RCM, PM optimization, CBM)
Mining or heavy industrial maintenance environment
Experience with CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Maximo)
Exposure to condition monitoring technologies (oil analysis, vibration, telematics), thermography, infrared inspection, or thermal imaging technologies
Familiarity with robotic or automated condition monitoring systems and industrial sensor networks
Understanding of electrical and mechanical failure modes detectable via thermography
Ability to interpret thermal imagery and translate findings into actionable maintenance recommendations
Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong interpersonal and persuasive skill and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational, and technical writing skills
Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets
May work holidays, shift work, and weekends as required
Requires valid driver's license
