Responsibilities
Daily Help Desk operations including but not limited to, telephone support, diagnosing problems, and completing regularly scheduled activities
Monitor Help Desk email account and direct workflow accordingly
Document all problems or program malfunctions in Help Desk system and notify Help Desk personnel
Install new equipment, replace existing equipment and move equipment, when necessary, throughout the property
Assist guests with connecting to wired and wireless networks in guest rooms and meeting rooms
Provide user support for all computer systems used throughout the Hotel
Assist with tracking the company’s inventory of computer hardware and software
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Possess general knowledge of hardware and software platforms. Understand the Hotels general business functions and a conceptual understanding of each unit's activities
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedure(s)
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Current CompTIA A+ certification required for consideration
Obtain a second certification of Network+ or Security+ or equivalent within 180 days of employment
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office products
