Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and audit Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and object-level security across Fabric's OneLake and Workspaces
Automate the enforcement and reporting of governance and compliance policies (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) using PowerShell, Python, or SQL
Establish metadata, data lineage, and data quality standards within Fabric to promote certified and trusted datasets
Serve as the SME for AI governance, collaborating with architects and security teams to embed controls early in the data lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Solid foundation in Data Engineering, Governance, or Platform Administration with hands-on experience architecting and implementing governance/security models in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Workspaces, Pipelines)
Expertise in RBAC design, data masking, and security controls for cloud data platforms
Proficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, or SQL) to deploy and audit governance configurations at scale
Practical experience with DAMA-DMBOK principles, and translating regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA) into technical controls
