Responsibilities
Design and architect secure cloud solutions for federal systems
Provide cloud security expertise supporting FedRAMP requirements
Design and implement Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) solutions
Architect AI-enabled compliance automation for cloud environments
Review and analyze security alerts and reports from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk)
Assess AWS security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Inspector
Design secure network architectures using AWS native services
Implement and validate encryption for data in transit and at rest
Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities related to configuration and data integrity
Qualification
Required
10+ years of cloud and cloud security experience supporting federal systems
Advanced networking expertise, including: AWS firewalls, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Outposts, Reverse proxies
Proven experience with Continuous Monitoring solutions
Experience designing AI-driven compliance and assessment tooling
Strong understanding of encryption technologies (TLS, SSL)
Expertise in vulnerability identification and mitigation
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk)
Master's degree
Ability to attain a Public Trust
Preferred
Prior work history in supporting DOJ/BOP systems
